John Nelson conducts the Damnation of Faust at the Enescu Festival

Internationally renowned for his interpretations of Berlioz, John Nelson will conduct the George Enescu Choir and Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert version of The Damnation of Faust at the Grand Palace Hall, Bucharest, on 20 September, as part of the 2017 Enescu Festival. The performance, with multimedia projections by the award-winning Romanian director, Carmen Lidia Vidu, will feature as soloists Peter Hoare, Clémentine Margaine, Nicolas Testé and Şerban Vasile.
