As part of a day-long event conceived by architect Daniel Libeskind in cooperation with Alte Oper Frankfurt, Hugh Wolff returns to lead Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra for two unique performances, both on 22 May, of Mozart’s Requiem at VGF Betriebshof Gutleut train depot in Frankfurt. As part of a series of concerts taking place in unlikely urban locations, Hugh and the orchestra are joined by the Gächinger Kantorei choir, soprano Letizia Scherrer, mezzo-soprano Ingeborg Danz, tenor Jörg Dürmüller and bass Torben Jürgens. Find out more on the orchestra’s website.

Hugh then returns to NDR Philharmonic Orchestra at NDR Großer Sendesaal in Hannover on 26 and 27 May and Quakenbrück’s Artland-Arena on 29 May. Accompanied by pianist Martin Stadtfeld, the programme features Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 La Reine and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 5.
