ICA is delighted to welcome Moné Hattori to its artist roster for worldwide general management. The 17-year-old protégée of legendary pedagogue Professor Zakhar Bron is already proving herself to be a unique musical voice with an exciting future ahead. Born in Tokyo in 1999, Moné started playing the violin at the age of five, making her concerto debut with orchestra just three years later. Winner of five international competitions – including becoming the youngest ever winner of the Wieniawski/Lipinski (2009, aged 10) and Novosibirsk (2013, aged 13, in the ’17 years and older’ category) – her debut recording with DSO Berlin was released in Japan in 2016 on Avex Classics International.
Moné works regularly in Japan, performing at the most important concert venues and touring with major orchestras including the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, and recently touring Italy and Switzerland with the European Union Youth Orchestra and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy.
Please join us in welcoming Moné Hattori to International Classical Artists!
