Lukas Geniušas travels to the USA in April for a solo recital at the Phillips Collection in Washington and a recital and masterclass at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. His programme, which includes some lesser-known works that Lukas particularly wants to perform, opens with Schumann's Faschingsschwank Aus Wien, followed by seven Mazurkas by Chopin, then Béla Bartók's three Burlesques, Op 8, and concludes with Sergei Prokofiev's Sonata No 2 in D minor.
