Lyon Debut for Wilson Hermanto brought forward to May 10 and 12, 2012

Wilson Hermanto conducts his debut concerts with the Orchestre national de Lyon on May 10 and 12, in an adventurous programme of Varèse, Amériques; Schoenberg's A survivor from Warsaw; Brahms' Quartet for piano and strings (orch. Schoenberg). Invited to join the orchestra at short notice, Wilson is also engaged to conduct the orchestra during their 2012/2013 season.
Wilson Hermanto is well known for great musicianship and enthusiasm, particularly in France where he has conducted a number of orchestras recently: the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre de Bretagne and the Orchestre National d’Île de France and Orchestre de chambre de Paris amongst others.
