Tamsin Waley-Cohen performs at the Royal Albert Hall

Tamsin Waley-Cohen is one of the star soloists appearing at this spring’s Classic FM Live series at the Royal Albert Hall on 18 April. She will be performing Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Stephen Barlow. The renowned pianist Simon Trpčeski will follow with Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No 2, while the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus will enthuse the audience with O Fortuna from Orff’s Carmina Burana amongst other choral favourites. The evening is expected to conclude with a lights-and-fireworks show to the sound of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.
