Teo Gheorghiu debuts with Utah Symphony and returns to Zürcher Kammerochester

Following his Philharmonia debut, Teo Gheorghiu quickly follows up with another debut, this time with Utah Symphony Orchestra on 4 and 5 March. Performing Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 Egyptian, under Matthias Pintscher in Salt Lake City’s Abravanel Hall as part of the orchestra’s Masterworks series, with the theme of ‘Fearless Exploration’.
Following this, Teo travels to Tonhalle, Grosser Saal in Zurich on 18 March for a concert with the Zürcher Kammerochester and concert master Willi Zimmermann. This performance includes Mozart works, Rachmaninov’s Études-Tableaux Op. 33, which Teo will soon record and Balakirev’s Islamey.
