Teo Gheorghiu returns to Taipei and debuts in Seoul

Making his return to Taipei’s National Concert Hall on 4 April, Teo Gheorghiu will perform a recital program in the first half of the concert, with Haydn’s Piano Sonata No. 54 in G Major, Rachmaninov’s Etudes-Tableaux, Op. 33, a work Teo will soon be recording and Balakirev’s Islamey, Op. 18. In the second half of the concert, Teo is joined by the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra and conductor Wen-chen Chuang for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, Op. 73 Emperor. Teo then travels to Seoul for the first time on 7 April for a recital concert following a special invitation from the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation. Taking the stage at the Kumho Art Hall, the programme includes Haydn’s Keyboard Sonata in G Major and Schubert’s Piano Sonata No.19. Full details can be found on the venue website.
