Daisey studied Classics at Pembroke College, Cambridge. To her Director of Studies’ despair, she was heavily involved in student theatre during her degree, including acting in a German language play and serving as one-woman technical team to more sketchshows than is strictly healthy. A lapsed saxophonist and adequate pianist, her introduction proper to classical music consisted of teaching herself to stage manage Handel’s Jephtha in four days. After graduating Daisey worked as Company Stage Manager for the 2016 Cambridge Greek Play. She has also been involved in Barefaced Greek, a project producing short films in Ancient Greek, and the Dartington International Summer School & Festival. In her spare time, Daisey is teaching herself Italian (slowly) and Polish (even more slowly). She also enjoys baking, sewing and ballroom dancing.
